Hi, I'm Joie!  (pronounced Joey)

First and foremost, I am a lover and follower of Jesus Christ.  I am also a widowed homeschooling solo Mom of 3 sons. 

This is my boutique. 

CHECKERBOARD MARKET is a long-time dream of mine -- originally wanting a brick & mortar store.  But this is so much better for all of us!  I do most of my shopping online -- as I know so many of you do! So opening an online boutique  just made perfect sense to me! 

What you see in Checkerboard Market are items that I lovingly handpicked because *I* love them and have or might have them for myself and in my home!  They make me smile, make me feel cozy, give me meaning, make me feel special, or warm my heart!  I know you'll just love them too!
