Product returns for credit or exchange up to 30 DAYS after the date shipped, provided that the returned product(s) are unused, and in original condition - complete with original documents and packaging.

Most items purchased from Checkerboard Market are eligible for return, provided they are in new condition as detailed above.  We will not accept returns of:

• Special orders
• Non-stock products
• Products that have been made or personalized according to your specifications

All returns must be pre-approved, regardless of the reason for the return. A Return Authorization (RA) number can be obtained by contacting us* with full details of the purchased items and an acceptable reason for the return. Shipments returned to Checkerboard Market must have the RA number clearly marked on the package. Return Authorization will be cancelled if the returned product is not received within 30 DAYS of the authorization issue date.

Shipping costs will be refunded in full if the product was received due to an error on the part of Checkerboard Market. For returns that are not due to an error on the part of Checkerboard Market, shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. If item is damaged due to shipping, please contact shipper with proper information.  If item is defective, first of all, we apologize for letting that slip -- we will not charge return shipping costs upon reviewing photos and description from customer -- and determining item is indeed defective.
